Maisie came to me after I had allowed another family to adopt a dog I was fostering with whom I’d formed a powerful bond.
Maybe I was on the rebound, but Maisie has become the backbone of our family and my right-hand dog at home and on the road.
She performs in schools, nursing homes, festivals, and parades.
Her extraordinary emotional intelligence gives her uncanny tenderness and grace when interacting with the fierce dog in the neighborhood, the ewe in the pasture, the struggling child in school, and the patient in the hospital.
