Here’s Roo!
Roo, aka Rooey, aka Roo Manchu, is Mick’s half-brother, eleven years younger. He’s from the last litter sired by Cheryl Jagger Williams’ Imported Fleet. Fleet was fourteen when he fathered his last litter, which was itself another miracle.
Roo was born on Christmas Eve. Therefore, we considered naming him Rudolph, but thank goodness we settled on Roo! Or is it Ru? He likes to spell it Roux, but he puts on airs.
To the right: Roo with his big brother, Mick.

Roo has big paw prints to fill. But he believes with every fiber of his being that he’s ready-ready-ready.
To the left you see him posing with two of his big brothers: Mick on the right and Travis on the left (Travis is camera-shy). Mick and Travis aren’t littermates, but they have the same mother and father.
Roo is trying hard to make his older brothers proud. He’s passed Basic Obedience and is preparing for Novice Obedience. He’s already earned his Novice and Intermediate Trick Dog titles. He’s starting agility and is serving as my demo dog in tricks classes. He’s on his way!
Roo’s certifications and titles:
- AKC Novice Trick Dog
- DMWYD Novice Trick Dog
- DMWYD Novice Masters
- AKC Intermediate Trick Dog
