A Stunt Dog Ring Trial is a trick-dog competition under trial conditions, including a “stage” and an audience.
Stunt Dog Trials incorporate elements of live animal performances. You’re not only judged on your training and handling skills, you’re also judged on showmanship. You need tricks that are “fun to watch,” like Sit Pretty or Cover Your Eyes.
Stunt Dog Titles are given under the auspices of DMWYD and are recognized by the AKC.
To protect everyone’s safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, we now offer virtual Stunt Dog Ring Trial evaluations.
